Old Shawnee Days Fun

We always enjoy our time at Old Shawnee Days each year! The parade is always great and we come home with SO much candy. I always look forward to Old Shawnee Days most because of one thing... funnel cakes!!
Getting ready to go find our funnel cakes, sno cones, kettle corn and free stuff!
Gracie and Molly at the parade, we were showing off our VBS tshirts to support our friends from church who were in the parade advertising our VBS.
Watching the parade with Tyler and Bria.
Julie and Keegan even joined in on the fun... look how patriotic he is even at his young age :)

Here comes our church float!

Big 8

My baby turned 8 on June 11th! I know I am a little behind on my blog posting. We had a great party and she had a couple friends over. We had a wonderful time with our friends and family. I enjoy so much celebrating birthdays and what a better way to do it than with friends and family! Enjoy the pictures!
Sydney and her sweet smile!
A wonderful gift... a mini Psalm book from PaPa Dick and Nannie.
Friends... Megan, Sydney and Hannah.
Daddy and his girls.

The best party... a fabulous Little Pet Shoppe Cake made by Grammy!

Birthday Girl

Happy 3rd Birthday Sweet Molly! My baby turned 3 and I am having a hard time grasping that:) The last three years have been fun and have gone so fast. Here are a few pictures from her birthday and the fun family birthday party we recently had.
WooHoo! It's my birthday!!
Molly and her teapot bedding she received for her birthday. She loved getting new bedding for her big girl bed. Her room is a work in progress with new curtains and some new wall decor coming soon, so I am sorry to say this is not the last picture you will see :)
The My Little Pony birthday party!!
The super yummy cake from Grammy!!
Blowing out the candles... with the help of her sisters.
We also celebrated Barry's birthday with the family and the girls and I got Barry this book for his birthday. I am sure I will read it too! Maybe you can't see what it is... Bringing Up Girls by James Dobson. I bet it is going to be a good one :)

Big Girl Bed

My 'baby' finally got moved to her 'big girl' bed on Saturday night. She was so completely excited. I was dreading it just a bit only because there is always a transition of learning to sleep and stay asleep in a new bed... but let me tell you she has done wonderfully! She was so ready to move that the transition has been easy. I am sure there will be more pictures to follow as Molly is getting new bedding and curtains for her room for her birthday.
Molly is very excited about her new bed!!
Her sisters were very excited for her too but Molly was NOT in the sharing mood Saturday night when her new bed was ready. This picture cracks me up... she did not want anybody in her bed... at all that first night:)

Sweet Dreams Sweet Molly! Zzzzzzzzzzz.......

New Nephew + New Brother In Law = Family

We had a great weekend with a couple of really wonderful events! My sister had a sweet baby BOY on Friday morning. Keegan Li Tan made his grand entrance and he is already really spoiled and I can't wait to get my hands on him again. Also, my little sister, Kathryn got married on Saturday! I know... I am still trying to believe it;-) She had a very nice, small ceremony on Saturday with just family. It was so wonderful to be a part of a special event and we are so happy to welcome Matt, her husband, into the family. They leave next Saturday, April 24th for Amsterdam to serve with YWAM there. Here are a few pictures of our special events. If you need to see more of Keegan just ask... I have LOTS!!!
Just a few hours old! Isn't he beautiful?? :)

Don't you love the elephants? That was the gift from our family. The girls also picked out a stuffed elephant as his "special" gift from them!

Am I getting redundant? He is so sweet!
