This is for all those Wonderwoman Super Moms! I was thinking recently how as moms our lives change from being single or married with out kiddos. It is drastic change but can be humerous too when you think about it. I was reading an article in my Parenting magazine not too long ago about how as a mom we do things now that we would never dream of doing or attempting prior to kids. For example... flying, when you see you child about to fall or drop something, we can literally 'fly' across the room to catch child or object. How about, Super Hearing? Can't you tell exactly what your children are whispering to each other in the next room or whether or not they are jumping "quietly" on the "no-jumping" furniture! I can tell you my children are amazed by this... so am I actually. You probably didn't know it but I am a master juggler... yes I know clowns can juggle but just the other day I was making supper while making sure Molly did not fall off the counter while she was poking toothpicks into cupcakes as well as helping Sydney manuver her Webkinz in their virtual rooms on the computer. What about when you children are sick... our ability to move our child from a carpeted area to a non-carpeted area at the Speed of Light in order to save the carpet from "the flu bug". Amazing right??? When I was little I did want to be WonderWoman and actually had the WonderWoman underwear but I figured that would be as far as it went. Little did I know that as a Mom, the Lord gives us amazing talents and abilities to be a SuperMom... which is a much better life than WonderWoman... a fictional character! So to all those moms who feel lost in the daily routine, just remember that really you live a life with super powers that only moms can appreciate!
