Big Girl Bed

My 'baby' finally got moved to her 'big girl' bed on Saturday night. She was so completely excited. I was dreading it just a bit only because there is always a transition of learning to sleep and stay asleep in a new bed... but let me tell you she has done wonderfully! She was so ready to move that the transition has been easy. I am sure there will be more pictures to follow as Molly is getting new bedding and curtains for her room for her birthday.
Molly is very excited about her new bed!!
Her sisters were very excited for her too but Molly was NOT in the sharing mood Saturday night when her new bed was ready. This picture cracks me up... she did not want anybody in her bed... at all that first night:)

Sweet Dreams Sweet Molly! Zzzzzzzzzzz.......

New Nephew + New Brother In Law = Family

We had a great weekend with a couple of really wonderful events! My sister had a sweet baby BOY on Friday morning. Keegan Li Tan made his grand entrance and he is already really spoiled and I can't wait to get my hands on him again. Also, my little sister, Kathryn got married on Saturday! I know... I am still trying to believe it;-) She had a very nice, small ceremony on Saturday with just family. It was so wonderful to be a part of a special event and we are so happy to welcome Matt, her husband, into the family. They leave next Saturday, April 24th for Amsterdam to serve with YWAM there. Here are a few pictures of our special events. If you need to see more of Keegan just ask... I have LOTS!!!
Just a few hours old! Isn't he beautiful?? :)

Don't you love the elephants? That was the gift from our family. The girls also picked out a stuffed elephant as his "special" gift from them!

Am I getting redundant? He is so sweet!

This Dog Cracks Me Up!!!

You just can't help but love a dog that does these things! Since Willow joined the family she gets just as many pictures taken as the girls and you have to capture some of these just because they are funny!

Willow, apparently even Chick Tock, a pop-up book, could not keep her awake!
Snoooozzzzeeee!

Willow likes to hang out on the steps and "guard" the front door!

Now that it is warm and the girls are outside a lot... Willow likes to be outside too! No wonder she gets so stinky... she likes to roll around and lay on her back in the dirt! Silly dog!

Barry likes to pick on Willow when she is sleeping... I am pretty sure 2 seconds after Barry put her on his lap... she was asleep again, like this!

It is Still Winter... Right?

These are some great pictures from Christmas Day that Sherry took that are too good not to post. So on this last day of Winter with more snow expected on the first day of Spring, I thought I would share these...

We went to Dad and Sherry's on Christmas Day and spent a wonderfully, relaxing day.
A couple pictures of the girls and Willow with their Christmas head gear on!
This is how Barry pulled Sydney and Molly on the sleds. Tied the sleds together and attached himself to the sleds with the dog leash and attached Willow to himself and then ran...
It is too funny! See why I had to share these even though it is now March!

Dear Winter,

It has been nice to see you so much this year! You have provided lots of fun opportunities to play in the snow along with lots of piles of wet dirty snow clothes. You have left the backyard wet, muddy and swampy. Please don't take this the wrong way, you are beautiful! The snow days and excuses to stay home have been lovely. The dance parties to get the wiggles out because it was too cold to go outside were fun. However, don't you think maybe it is time to move on? You could leave slowly, let it warm up just a little, I won't mind. My girls' jeans are getting holes in the knees from so much wear, I just think it is time to let Spring move in. We need some weather for capri's and skirts, I just don't want to spend any money on jeans right now. You understand right? I know you will return, you always do and we will look forward to seeing you again. Thank you taking time from your busy schedule of dropping more snow and ice to read this plea from just one mom who is ready to send her children outside to play!
Sincerely,
So Over Winter
